Linda Tavaszi, PhD, Chief Executive Officer
Linda Tavaszi was appointed Chief Executive Officer in September, 2011, after serving as interim CEO for 4 months. She has spent her entire career in healthcare, most recently as Senior Vice President and Executive Director of Physician Services at Marin General Hospital. She also served as CEO of Kentfield Specialty Hospital. She holds Masters Degrees in Social Work and Public Administration from Fordham University and University of Southern California, and a PhD in healthcare administration from Walden University of Florida. Linda served on Marin Community Clinics’ Board of Directors in 2004-05 and 2007-2010, and as a consultant to the organization following her retirement from Marin General Hospital. She has been a strong advocate for Marin Community Clinics throughout her many years of working with clinicians and industry leaders in Marin.

Peggy Dracker, Chief Operations Officer
Peggy Dracker joined Marin Community Clinics in March, 2013 as the Chief Operations Officer after providing consultant services to the organization for several months. She has spent her entire career in healthcare, both clinically and in administration. She most recently held the position as the Regional Director for Physician Strategy and Planning for Sutter Pacific Medical Foundation, and prior to that as the Executive Director for Ambulatory and Inpatient Services at Marin General Hospital. She had undergraduate training at Penn State University and received her bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy at Rutgers University, prior to coming to California where she completed her residency with the Public Health Service in San Francisco. She has served on several nonprofit healthcare Boards in Marin County, including currently with RotaCare San Rafael. She has a passion for ensuring excellence in healthcare for all, particularly in Marin County where she has lived for over 30 years.

David Klinetobe, Interim Chief Financial Officer
David Klinetobe joined Marin Community Clinics as Interim CFO in September 2014. He served on the Board of Directors as Treasurer and head of its finance committee since 2008. He has over 25 years of experience in finance, strategic planning and line management operations, serving most recently as the CFO of InfoCentricity, a software provider of predictive analytics solutions. His background includes ten years with Fair Isaac, where he held various executive positions, as well as risk management and consulting positions with Chase Manhattan Bank and KPMG Peat Marwick. He holds an MSIA (MBA) from the Tepper School of Business at Carnegie Mellon University, an MS in Taxation from Golden Gate University, and a BA in Economics from the University of Washington. Dave is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) (inactive) in the state of California.

Connie Kadera, DDS, Chief Dental Officer
Dr. Kadera joined MCC in 2008 and was instrumental in establishing the state-of-the-art dental clinic in San Rafael. She has continued to see patients and oversee dental operations ever since. While attending UCSF School of Dentistry, she initiated outreach programs for the underserved which have now been expanded nationally. She was a member of the Chancellor’s Advisory Committee on Diversity, and often contributed to free clinics for the homeless. She was a recipient of the UCSF Denzon-Butler scholarship (for community involvement) and the Western Region National Association of Medical Minority Educators scholarship.
Prior to moving to Marin County, she practiced at Mountain Valley Health Centers serving Siskiyou and neighboring counties in northern California. A native of Colombia and self-described coffee lover, Dr. Kadera is fluent in English and Spanish.

Mitesh Popat, MD, MPH, Chief Medical Officer
Dr. Popat joined Marin Community Clinics as Chief Medical Officer in November 2013. He brings a broad range of experience, most recently as Associate Medical Director at La Clinica de La Raza in Vallejo, CA. He is a Board Certified Family Physician with a Masters in Public Health and MD from Tufts University Medical School in Boston. He returned to his California roots to serve in the O’Connor Hospital/Stanford Family Medicine Residency Program in San Jose. It is his real life experiences that prepared him for leadership in community healthcare, including stints in India and South Africa, working with local medical professionals to improve preventive care for diabetes patients and to solve some of the mysteries of HIV. He shows his passion for community service by devoting his medical expertise and time to various community based organizations around the Bay Area. His ability to speak Spanish, Kutchi/Gujarati and Hindi will serve well in our clinics.
